A/N: For P100 prompt 887 – Anniversary, Set in my Smokescreen 'verse.
Anniversaries could be difficult to plan when concealing the identify of your partner. Although James felt it made the event all the better as he considered his plan for any flaws.
The children would be on a sleepover for the bank holiday weekend.
The hotel was booked, along with an expensive meal and an excellent bottle of wine.
Chrissie's card and carefully selected present were in the boot of his car.
And he had other plans for the weekend...
All that was left to do was to instruct his PA to only disturb him if the world was actually ending.
