A/N 1: For P100 prompt 886 - Hidden Treasures.
A/N 2: Decided to see if I could continue my Cry Wolf verse with this drabble (#25)… although idk if it works 100%. All you need to know is that Lester is a disguised neo-Troodon who is trying to stop humanity destroying the world.
Lester’s killing-claws tapped in anger as he read the latest report from one of his scouts. The rainforest... the Amazon... held so many species the mammals had never taken the time to discover before they'd begun to cut it down with careless disregard.
How could any so-called sentient species disregard so many other species? To think of the medicines such a forest might contain... Maybe that was an angle to look at? The cure for some dangerous disease...
He shook his head, knowing they would probably descend en masse and strip the forest bare as they looted it's hidden treasures.
