A/N: For P100 prompt 873: Storm Warning. A little bit of a sideswipe?
A/N 2: Definition: a happening that warns of a difficult or involved state of affairs lying ahead
Lester hadn’t been impressed when the idiot minister informed him the ARC was being assigned a military liaison. Just what he needed, a gun-happy muppet who’d shoot first and ask questions never.
Still, Lester was confident he’d easily convince whoever it was to leave the ARC’s running to him. He clicked open the minister’s email, the smile falling from his face as he read the name.
And again.
He rubbed his eyes but… no, the name remained unchanged.
Wonderful. The last thing Lester needed was Christine Johnson back in his life. She always believed she was right and he wasn’t.
