A/N: For P100 prompt 838 : Cat Among the Pigeons. Set in my Cry Wolf 'verse.
Helen cursed when Lester just gave her a sanctimonious look as he, once again, refused to answer any of her questions. Not that she'd really thought he'd inform her of their nefarious plans for humanity.
She could hear the tap-tap-tap of his claws on the floor as he walked away and shuddered. That sound had haunted far too many of her nights, of her dreams.
In her nightmares, of Lester and his fellow Neo-Troodons stalking, hunting down an oblivious humanity, wilfully blind to the danger in their midst – like a flock of pigeons unaware of the cat prowling ever closer.
