“You do not have to say anything. But, it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.”
Sir James groaned as his phone rang, groaning again as the time registered. “What the hell are you doing phoning at 2.47am?”
He pinched his nose and sighed as he overhead the conversation in the background. “Jon, do I want to know why I can hear someone being arrested?”
Lester gave free range to his eyeballs, rolling them even if no-one else was around to witness it. “I see, and what encouraged Finn, Blade, Fiver and yourself to do such a thing?”
He slowly counted to ten. “A bet? And what would you like me to do about this, Lieutenant?”
