Connor had hoped for a quick gateaway, for time to consider his options, when he'd realised who his boss was. Except his new boss and the bloody broken lift had other ideas.

He shifted uncomfortably as the silence grew before remarking, "Well, this is weird."

"We could, of course, forget last night ever happened."

"We can?" Connor certainly didn't want to, but maybe Lester did. "If you want..."

Lester frowned. "Don't you?"

"Doesn't this whole 'you're my boss'..."

"Normally it would be a problem."

"Normally?"

"We didn't know about this last night."

"So... we can be together?"

"If you want."
