I stared down into the atrium, for once wishing that an anomaly would open, for something long extinct to demand my field team's attention. Instead the ADD remained stubbornly silent and the atrium was full of milling people setting up tables and ovens and cameras.
"Sir James!" Prue Leith cried. "There you are, this is your table."
"Excuse me? You expect me to.." I paused, reconsidering my choice of words, "bake."
"Of course," Ms Leith continued. "The minister was most specific."
"Of course he was," I replied. Cursing the minister soundly as I realised Quinn's and Temple's tables were beside mine.
