A/N: For P100 prompt 785: Power Cut. A bit of a sideswipe at the prompt.
My computer screen was still dark when I returned from making my coffee. I frowned when I heard the pelting rain, knowing it would would drench me long before I reached my car. Not that they were the only changes since I’d lost directorship of the ARC.
I shook my head, my personal discomforts were unimportant. What did matter was finding my lost team and the fact the anomalies wouldn’t stop just because the minister said so.
No, I might have suffered a set back, but I wasn’t going to accept that this cut in my power would last forever.
