A/N: For P100 prompt 781: A Herd of Sauropods. Part of my Ice Age drabble series (#40).
I was reluctant to follow Helen through the anomaly which had conveniently opened before us, but was even less happy at the thought of leaving her to run around time on her own. That and the slightest of slight possibilities she was telling the truth, however unlikely that was.
Once through, I stared around and raised an eyebrow at her. “I know you said we needed to go back, but really, I rather doubt the sauropods caused whatever event you… we need to fix.”
Helen sighed before skirting the herd of sauropods and I had little option but to follow.
