I rose from behind my desk, fear warring with hope in my heart, as the field team entered the atrium. I breathed a relieved sigh when I realised we hadn’t lost anyone... this time.
I took a closer look, exhaustion was clear in every line of their forms and I knew it ran deeper, everyone was being run mentally ragged and...
I glanced back at the latest ministerial decree on my desk before straightening to face my people, to tell them we were being shut down. That we were finally out of options and our missing colleagues would remain lost.
