A/N: For P100 prompt 756: “Is That Real?” Off-screen death.
As the field team drew up and sorted themselves out, Jenny quickly decided on they cover story and strolled towards the gathering gawkers. “Good afternoon, I apologise for any inconvenience while we shoot this scene,” she said, handing out the prepared business cards and publicity for their fake film company.
A roar sounded behind her as a young boy excitedly called out, “Is that real?”
“No,” Jenny smiled. “It’s the latest in animatronic robots.”
“If that’s a bloody robot, I’d sue the manufacturer,” a man declared, grabbing the boy and quickly turning away.
“What? Why?”
“Because it's just eaten someone!”
