Becker cursed softly when the field team reached the location of the latest anomaly. The park had far too many places a creature could hide. It also had far too many children yelling as they dashed this way and that, all far to tempting for anything predatory to ignore for long.
He glanced towards his lover, sighing in relief at the absence of thumbs being scratched. Although he doubted that would last for long and they needed to clear the park, now.
A loud slurp from their resident geek had Becker sighing before smiling. “Lyle!”
“Boss?”
“Commandeer that ice-cream van.”
