Title: A Crack In The Ice
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Stephen Hart, Nick Cutter, (Sarah Page)
Rating: 15
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 731: Signs Of Spring and also for the Stephen/Sarah month.
I watched Nick walk away without a backwards glance, once more refusing to acknowledge my ‘good morning’, refusing to acknowledge me.
I sighed, if not for Sarah I would have given up long ago. Left the ARC and made a new life for myself but Sarah believed that Nick would reply one day and… even though I knew better, I found myself hoping she was correct and knew I’d continue to try.
Still, I didn’t really hold much hope, not until the day Nick finally met my gaze and muttered, “You bloody thick eejit” before leaving me gaping after him.
