A/N: For P100 prompt 730: "Place Your Bets!". Set in my Smokescreen series and follows on from Found It!. I might even claim this is for Danny month ;)
Danny nodded to Norman before slipping past the ‘No Entry, Maintenance’ sign and into the somewhat noisy, crowded room beyond.
He spotted a list taped haphazardly to a wall and grinned as he read the options, ranging from the certainties like Lester yelling at Temple over the flowers to Lester sleeping on his sofa (also due to the flowers) to the long odds: Lester adopting the Steggie (with a further book available for names).
“OK.” Danny turned to see Lyle waving his every present notebook. “Everyone ready?” At the murmur of agreement, Lyle grinned. “Ladies and gents, place your bets!”
