The boy laughed loudly as he watched the younger kids stream from the house as fast as they could run, tripping and scrambling over each other in their haste to escape. “Did you see their faces, Terry. They couldn’t get out of here fast enough.” The boy grinned widely, before he rolled his eyes when he heard a tap, tap, tap behind him. “You can stop, Terry, they’re gone.”

Tap, tap, tap.

“That’s not funny, Terry.”

Tap, tap, tap.

“Terry? Don’t be a fucking git.”

Tap, tap, tap.

“Terry?”

Tap, tap, tap.

“Where are you? Terry!”

Tap, tap, tap.

“Terr...”
