A/N: For P100 prompt 693 – Forum. I couldn’t think of something sensible for my Ice Age drabble series, so you have this instead. From Fred’s suggestion of Internet Forum.
Laughter had Lester glancing at the group gathered around a computer. He would have ignored it, post-convergence had been tough on everyone, except for the guilty looks.
He cleared his throat, suppressing his smirk when they jumped.
“James?”
“Hmm,” Lester murmured. “What is this?”
“A poll.”
“I can see that, Ms Parker.”
“Um… On why Matt’s been smiling.”
“Do I want to know the verdict?”
“Well, James,” Jenny smiled at him. “The favourite is that he’s shagging someone.”
“Or being shagged,” Jess added.
“I beg your pardon?”
“Becker’s the favourite.”
“What?”
“Oh, don’t worry, James. You’re catching up.”
“Dear god.”
