I have to apologize for not reading this sooner! Although I got back from Ottawa on Tuesday night, I've been playing catch up with my flist, etc. In any case, this latest installment is wonderful! :-) I was reading it during breaks and found it riveting -- heartbreaking but riveting. Once again, I have to say how impressed I am by the amount of research you've done! And, yet, the story still flows smoothly and isn't bogged down by facts. I love the way you've managed to combine realism with drama. You've done an amazing job of portraying Lester's condition and the kind of struggle he's facing. Both his confusion and frustration seem spot on. I should also praise you for the emotional reactions from characters like Abby, Ditzy and Claudia.

I'm really looking forward to seeing where this story goes next! :-)
