A/N: For P100 prompt 687: Stonehenge. Part 23 of my Ice Age series and follows Coming, James.
Helen smirked and stepped through the anomaly, leaving me with the choice of either staying here (wherever here really was) or following her blindly into the unknown. Not that I really had a choice, not if I wanted to save my team and the world.
I emerged to find a familiar landmark, almost familiar as I noticed it was far more complete. I looked around before frowning and turned to stare not at the anomaly I had just emerged from but at the stones framing it.
I glanced at Helen before asking, “Stonehenge? Do I dare ask why we’re here?”
