A/N: For P100 prompt 684: At the Zoo. Set in my Wolfverse series. All you need to know is that Lester is a werewolf.


I winced as the ADD screamed. “Where is it?”

“At Wellington Zoo.”

“At the zoo?” Bloody perfect, the first anomaly since Lieutenant Owen had cleared me and it was somewhere I couldn’t go. I knew what would happened if I did, half the animals would cry in fear and cower from me, all would see me as a predator.

“Yes?” Connor half-questioned, half-stated.

“Excellent.” I sighed before nodding sharply, maybe it was time to commence training, even if my plan for extra teams was on hold. “Ms Maitland.”

“Lester?”

“You’re team leader.”

“Me?”

“Yes. Are you still here? Chop, chop.”
