“I wouldn’t call the anomalies humdrum.”
“Hmm. What about before the anomalies?”
“Do you actually have a point?”
“Ahh, was that a nerve?”
“The door’s that way.”
“The anomalies got you out of a rut, James. They got everyone at the ARC out of one.”
“And what has this got to do with you needing my help?”
“Because they also got someone else out of one.”
“You’re going a long way around to get nowhere. You’re still playing games. I should have known you’d never change. Goodbye, Helen.”
