A/N: For P100 prompt 647: Stonehenge. Alternative pre-series? Also for Stephen month at Primeval Denial.
Stephen wasn’t sure about helping to supervise this field trip, but he needed the extra credit and, well, he really needed to be away from both Cutters. He took a deep breath and turned to the students, he might know fuck-all about archaeology but digging was digging and that he could do. He’d never damaged a bone and wasn’t about to spoil his record, even if he was more likely to find pottery buried at Stonehenge.
The students were keen, making him wonder if he’d ever been that carefree, before he smiled. Maybe this was the fresh start he needed?
