“Matt? Where’s the fire?”

“Fire? What fire?”

“Never mind. What’s the problem?”

“This.”

“Oh, I want an Iphone X. What’s it like?”

“It’s James’. I knocked it into the sink when...”

“I don’t want to know!”

“When I was washing up.”

“Why did Lester leave it… Ah, don’t tell me.”

“It won’t work.”

“OK. Let me have a look at it.”

“I put it in rice and...”

“You what? Never put it in rice. You’ll kill it.”

“But the internet said to.”

“Yeah. Remember when I told you not everything on the ‘net was true?”

“Oh, yeah."

Haha, oops!
I used rice once, it sort of worked :D But I think the passage of time was more crucial.
