I hadn’t bothered with Christmas since my divorce, there seemed little point when all it did was remind me of my children’s absence and of happier times. But Connor had asked and well, I couldn’t resist when he turned those ‘puppy-dog’ begging eyes on me. Not that I would ever admit that, who knew where it might lead?
I was surprise the Christmas lights still worked, even though they were covered in dust and worse. I caught the sympathetic look Connor shot me and bit back a sigh. Obviously it was time to have another talk about hacking private records.
