Stephen was in a good mood as he headed towards the office he shared with Nick. The visit to the dig had been wonderful and he was sure they’d discovered a new species. He could hardly wait to tell Nick everything.

He stopped dead when he entered the room and looked around in shock. He knew Nick was messy but how the hell had he turned the office into a disaster zone in under a week?

Stephen’s eyes widened and he scrabbled for his phone when he noticed the live ammonite on the desk. He needed to find Nick now.
