Blade stood behind his principal and decided this meeting was a waste of time. His gaze briefly fell on Lester’s tense back and he pondered the wisdom of offering a massage later while he scanned the room for any threat.

“Fuck!” Lester rose from the table. “This meeting is adjourned until you get clearance to discuss the anomalies.”

“Look here, buddy,” the loud and grating American principal began.

“No,” Lester’s voice was cold. “I will not waste my time or that of my people. International cooperation on the anomalies is too important to be left to chance. Good day, gentlemen.”
