Abby walked the length of the menagerie, taking a moment with each of the creatures plucked out of time. They were going to die and all because Burton was an idiot. She had no idea what to do now, not when Jess had not only refused to help her but had also informed Lester about her plan.
She shook her head, she hadn't lost yet. She wasn't going to let Burton or anyone else kill the creatures without a fight. There had to be something she'd missed, some way to save them.
Abby smiled when the mammoth trumpeted. Of course!
