Helen fumed. How dare Nick shoot down her ideas without even considering them? They used to discus things. It was why she was currently camping in the Forest of Dean. Here she'd find the proof she needed to show Nick, to show all of them, that her theories were sound.

She woke in the night, listening hard to the sounds of the woods. Ones she hadn't heard before on her trips here, ones she hadn't heard anywhere she'd visited. She peered into the night, a flickering light attracting her attention and she rose to investigate.

Knowing it would prove everything.
