Primeval drabble: Dinner Date
Title: Dinner Date
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, (Nick Cutter)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 535: Dinner Date. Also for 52 weeks of Primeval (Lester).
This had all the makings of a disaster and Lester couldn't fathom what had possessed him to ask Cutter – Cutter of all people – out to dinner. On a date, of all things. Except, Lester knew he didn't really regret asking, even if it had taken him nearly dying to do so.
What did cause some concern, however, was what the hell they'd talk about that wasn't work related – he had no wish for an argument during the meal. More importantly, where could he take Cutter that would meet his exacting standards and be somewhere he wouldn't regret never again dining?
