Primeval drabble: Calling In A Favour
Title: Calling In A Favour
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, (Evan Cross)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 533: Scars. Also for 52 Weeks of Primeval: PNW and for my Primeval Bingo Card (round 9) prompt: Someone calls in a Favour. Thanks go to Fred for saying it fitted the prompts.
Traumatic events had a way of scarring their survivors, Lester knew that far too well from his own experiences. Take this Evan Cross, a man who reminded Lester of Cutter – thinking he was always right and determined to discover the truth, no matter the cost. At least he didn't have a mad ex-wife hell-bent on destroying humanity.
Not that Lester was going to allow another maverick loose without supervision, even if he was in a different country. Too much was at stake for that.
He smiled and dialled a number. “I believe I know how you can repay that favour.”
