Sarah glared at her innocent cup of tea before sighing. She could understand why Becker had been angry but she'd been perfectly safe and the information she'd gathered had helped end the confrontation peacefully.
Besides, she was a researcher, that was what Lester had hired her to do. What did Becker expect her to do when offered the chance to visit the past? To meet people from those times and learn first hand about their world?
Any true researcher would do the same, would take any risk... ah, maybe she better miss that bit out when she wrote her report.
