Lester had paled when Ryan and Stephen informed him of their holiday destination, but he hadn't withdrawn his magnanimous offer to pay for it. Ryan had hoped Lester was over his misplaced guilt over their near-deaths, but he knew the man too well.
He glanced over at Stephen. His lover looked relaxed, healing in both mind and body, much as Ryan was.
“Penny for them?”
“I think we should thank Lester.”
“You mean?”
Ryan nodded. “Tickets to the Sydney Opera House.”
“Couldn't we give him something else?”
Ryan snorted. “I'm sure he'd agree to sex.”
“Instead of?”
“As well as.”
