It had been a week from hell and they were still no closer to finding their missing people. The list of the injured and dead grew with each mission and Becker knew it was only a matter of time before the minister acted. He hoped to succeed before then but... the minister had just left Lester's office.

He knocked on the door, but knew the answer from Lester's expression. “They've shut us down.”

“For now,” Lester agreed. “This isn't over, Becks. The anomalies will keep opening and they will need our expertise. We will be back. We will find them.”
