“Sure? Ah... Eth... Patrick? I'm sorry, Danny.”

“It's not your fault. It's mine.”

“Yours?”

“I made a promise. First time I saw him, my dad told me as the big brother it was my job to look after Patrick. I failed him.”

“You did your best. You couldn't have known about the anomalies.”

“Maybe. But I should have tried harder.”

“Harder? You joined the police to look for him, you broke into the ARC to continue that search. You did everything you could to find him. You didn't break your promise.”

“Didn't I?”

“No, Danny, you didn't.”
