I agree with zoi_no_miko: I love the way you write Vulnerable!Lester! :-) I thought you did a great job of describing Lester's period of adjustment after he returned to the present. Even if he hadn't fallen in love with Nick, he would have missed his presence. I'm glad that Nick was able to put an end to Lester's doubts and anxiety. I think it's great that Lester wasn't quite able to hide the hope, need and fear in his voice in that final scene, and Nick realizes what is going on immediately.
