Lester eyed his pint, not his normal fare but... apparently, birthday boys chose what everyone drank. “What exactly is this?”
“Don't tell Finn you don't like it,” Ryan murmured back.
“I didn't say that, I merely asked what it was.”
“Finn's Hall Porter, Lyle couldn't resist buying it when he found it,” Ryan informed him, before adding, “At least try it, James.”
“Please tell me Finn doesn't think it was named after him.”
“He's not as dim as he appears. And stop changing the subject and drink it. You might find you like it.”
“I'm all for trying new things.”
