Lester frowned when he found himself in a far too familiar corridor, the lights flickering as he remembered all to horrifyingly well.

He held his breath, heart pounding, when he noticed a red light in the distance, moving every close no matter how fast he retreated.

He tripped and fell, helpless before the predator. No one to help him this time, no mammoth to save him.

He cried out as the predator leapt, feeling claws rip into his chest.

He felt something grab him and woke with a scream.

“Easy, James.” His lover held him tightly. “It's only a dream.”

Poor Lester - I'm glad he's got someone to hold him. It's nice that exactly who that someone is is left ambiguous.

*nods* That adventure had to have a lingering effect on poor Lester. He needs someone to hold him, even if I couldn't decide who (and decided ambiguous was good).
