I read this yesterday and never had the chance to comment. This fic is really quite moving. It was interesting to see Stephen still struggling with the relationship. I really like the scene in which Stephen tries to propose and makes the mistake of implying that he's doing it simply because it's what Lester wants. I thought it was sweet that he then made sure to cancel his planned PDAs and prove his love in private.
