Connor almost knocked a vase over in his haste to squash himself in beside a filing cabinet. He tried not to even breathe as the door began to open and his eyes widened as he watched a torch beam play around the room. He had no idea what would happen when he was discovered, but he could just image Burton's glee and James' horror...
“Enjoying yourself, Con?”
Connor almost sagged with relief when he heard Danny's chirpy tones. He hadn't been caught... although, from the look on Danny's face, he expected he had plenty of time for that to change.
