Title: Saving A Life
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Hilary Becker, (Abby Maitland, Dracorex)
Rating: 15
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For my Primeval bingo prompt: That Moment (incident/chapter/episode) examined/rewritten and Fred's prompt: Abby operating on the dracorex from Becker's POV. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me.
Becker wasn't squeamish in the slightest; he'd seen men blown apart by bullet and bomb, men screaming and clutching at bits that were no longer there, but this...
He fought down his nausea as he held the creature's torn flesh together and felt its blood cooling into a thick and tacky layer on his skin. He swallowed when he watched Abby thread a bloody huge needle and refused to flinch when she drove it into the creature's thick skin.
Still, once it was over, Becker felt pride in helping it. Knowing he had saved a life rather than taken one.
