Oooooh! This isn't what I thought would happen, which is a good thing! You're really building up the tension and suspense, especially with that last scene and its mysterious intruder. It was touching to see how concerned Nick was about Lester. I'm almost afraid to see what will happen next and, yet, dying to read the next story! :-)
