Connor couldn't sleep, so full of anticipation of what the morning would bring, something he usually only felt on Christmas Eve... or when he was developing a new project... oh, and that first time he'd convinced James to make love to him the next morning.

This time, however, it wasn't the build up to pleasure – of opening presents, successful projects or awesome sex. No, this time he was afraid it would all go wrong. That James' plan would somehow fail and Philip would still destroy the world.

And Connor would have to live with knowing he'd helped Philip do it.
