Primeval drabble: No Need To Worry...
Dec. 15th, 2013 06:36 pmTitle: No Need To Worry...
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Jon Lyle (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace. Lyle, of course, belongs to Fred.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 345: Tidings of Comfort and Joy. Part 36 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series. Thanks to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.
Lyle barely waited for Lester to return before he asked. “What did she want?”
“Jon?” Lester seemed preoccupied.
“She looked at me...” Lyle realised he was whining. “Did you make your deal?”
“Really, Jon. Have I ever giving you a reason to doubt me?”
“Of course not.”
“Good.” Lester murmured. “She can send us home.”
“That's brilliant...” Lyle remembered the witch looking curiously at him. “What does she want from me... us?”
“Something you'd probably enjoy. A quest to break the local curse.”
Lyle get out the breath he'd been holding. At least it wasn't anything to do with him.

Date: 2013-12-16 08:53 pm (UTC)A quest seemed to make sense when I have a witch and semi-cannibalistic/zombies village-folk. It is also a way to get them back home... at some point.
Thanks for reading.
