Primeval drabble: Playing Games
Jul. 7th, 2013 03:53 pmTitle: Playing Games
Author: knitekat
Word Count:
Characters: James Lester, Helen Cutter, Jon Lyle (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace. Lyle belongs to Fred.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 322: Expect the Unexpected. Part 11 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series and follows Mad Dogs And Englishmen. Thanks go to the wonderful Fred for casting her eyes over this for me, cheers m'dear.
“Oh, James,” Helen's light laughter filled the air for a moment before she turned and strode towards Jon and knelt to check his injury. “And Jon, how are you feeling?”
James blinked in shock and met Jon's equally startled look over Helen's bowed head. He nodded when a look of understanding crossed Jon's face, both of them knowing Helen was playing a game with them.
“Ticklish?” She enquired solicitously when Jon flinched beneath her touch before shooting a coy glance at James.
James just gave her a bland smile, refusing to rise to her bait about his and Jon's relationship.
