Nick smiled at the ecstatic look on James' face when he savoured the nearly raw meat within his black-seared steak. He found himself having to move into a more comfortable position as he remembered the last time James had looked like that.

James paused when he realised Nick wasn't eating. “Nick? Is something wrong with your meal?”

“It's perfect.”

“Then what's wrong?” James frowned as he set his cutlery down. “You know you can tell me anything.”

“I know.” Nick smiled at him, “I was just remembering last night, you had the same look on your face when we...”

“Nick!”
