Matt slowed as he saw the anomaly swirling almost benignly in the corridor, except for the trail of disturbance leading away, passing beneath the still swinging sign for 'Operating Theatres'. He was torn between keeping people away from the anomaly and helping his colleagues.

He barely noticed someone gaping at the anomaly until he saw the flash. Fuck! As if the situation wasn't bad enough already. Matt paused and meet the gaze of a scruffy-looking man in a bobble hat before the man turned and ran.

Matt started after him when a scream sounded from one of the operating theatres.
