Matt made himself join the others in the waiting room, although he had no idea what to say to them or how to apologise for what had happened.

James looked dishevelled as he sat hunched over, staring fixedly at Connor's ring in his hand, the cord dangling between his fingers.

Abby looked equally distraught, her eyes dark smudges were she'd rubbed her tears away.

Matt sighed. Both were worried about Connor and both needed comfort but neither seemed willing to provide it for the other. It was up to Matt and... he just hoped he didn't mess up this time.

"Um, angsty." Gee, ya think? Beautiful. Matt will make them see sense. They need each other and Connor needs them both so they just need to get over themselves and hug, dammit! *g*

Hee, that's my muse being angsty again ;) Glad you liked it and Matt certainly hopes that he can make them see sense. They do need to be there for each other.
