Connor blinked the sweat from his eyes as he tried to circumvent lockdown. He couldn't help fearing he'd made a mistake with the upgrade, that he'd been in too much of a rush to put their plan into action.

He made a final alteration and tried to cancel lockdown, but the computer refused to obey. He closed his eyes in defeat for a moment before he felt a hand on his shoulder. He glanced up and saw the confidence in Abby's eyes.

If Abby believed in him, Connor knew he could save them all.

He just had to try harder.
