Primeval drabble: Keeping Secrets
Title: Keeping Secrets
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Matt Anderson
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 272: Keeping Secrets. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and follows The Worst Day In Connor Temple's Life. Thanks go to the ever wonderful Fred for casting her eyes over it for me, cheers.
Matt wondered if the old custom of crossing your fingers for luck was based on fact. He crossed them anyway.
Even before Connor had collapsed when he'd heard the news, he wouldn't have been Matt's first choice for this mission. The younger man had blurted out the truth about the operation before and someone had died; who knew what he'd do in his grief.
Matt sighed, knowing Connor was their only chance for success and he deserved to know the truth – whether James was really dead and if it was Burton's fault.
This was one mission he'd keep secret.
