A/N: For the P100 challenge 258: Rex. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and follows on (more-or-less) from A Job To Do. Thanks to Fred for looking at it for me.
“Rex! No!”
Abby raced into the hub at Jess' calls, skidding to a stop when she encountered an angry Burton. She tried to look contrite as the man ranted about out of control creatures in the ARC, not helped by catching Jess desperately trying not to laugh.
When Burton finally finished his threats and stalked away, Abby finally realised what Jess had seen all along.
“Good boy, Rex.” Abby murmured as the green splodge slowly ooze its way down Burton's back.
Rex trilled and flipped his wings back, looking proud and Abby just knew he'd targeted Burton on purpose.
