April snapped her phone closed and pasted a smile on her face. Her steps rapid as she made her way to the geek's laboratory. What Philip saw in that young 'genius' was beyond her, but April would do as he requested.
Her voice was cheerful as she manipulated Connor into doing Philip's bidden, helped of course by the drug. She knew what Connor felt for Philip was a lie, not the true feelings she had for him. Not that he could see that... April could only hope that one day, he would.
Until then, she had a job to do.
